240-3 Swing clamp compact, screw-in housing, cone mount
These swing clamp cylinders work single-acting with spring return or double-acting hydraulically. Depending on the version, G1/8 threaded connection or O-ring flange connection can be used for the pressure oil supply.
Info
If the permissible volume flow is exceeded, a throttle check valve must be installed in between. When installing the clamping arm, it must be held in place to prevent damage to the ball guide.
The clamping movement is initiated with a superimposed swivel and stroke movement. This is followed by a linear clamping stroke. Variants with swivel angles of 0°, 45°, 60° and 90° are available. The clamping force depends on the clamping arm length. In addition to the standard clamping arm, special clamping arms can be fitted. The max. operating pressure of 350 bar only applies with a max. clamp length of 26 mm.
Important note:
When installing in a fixture plate, make sure that no liquids or dirt can enter the ventilation opening. If the cylinder is to be screwed into a blind hole, ventilation must be ensured via a protected hole. The swing clamp cylinder must be completely vented before commissioning.
