Low-block clamping cylinder
hydraulic, with spring return, single-acting, pmax. 500 bar
Low-block clamping cylinders are used when the clamping force is to be applied to the side of the workpiece.
Info
The design means that a horizontal (Fh) and a vertical (Fv) force component are created when the force is applied, the size of which depends on the stroke. The vertical (Fv) force component can amount to a maximum of approx. 25% of the clamping force (Fsp). This force is used to press the workpiece against the support. The horizontal force (Fh) decreases depending on the stroke to at least 95% of the initial force. Alternatively, the pressure oil can be supplied via a G1/4 connection thread or O-ring flange connection.
The clamping piston has an internal stroke limiter. The piston and the pressure piece are each returned to the home position by a spring after pressure relief. Care must be taken to ensure that no cutting or cooling fluids can enter the cylinder.
Special features:
-
transfers the clamping force laterally into the workpiece
-
Wide range of installation options
-
Chip protection thanks to integrated metal scraper
-
Standard cylinders and special variants available
- Also available with pneumatic position control!
