Pressure regulating seat valve
without leakage oil connection, pmax. 500 bar
Pressure regulating seat valves are suitable for use in static leakage-free clamping systems that are uncoupled from the pressure generator.
Info
The task of the pressure control valve is to keep the outlet pressure A at the consumer constant even with a variable, constantly higher inlet pressure P.
Functional principle:
If the inlet pressure reaches the set outlet pressure, a non-return valve hermetically seals off the oil flow. This prevents any further increase in pressure. Until the set outlet pressure is reached, the hydraulic oil can flow unhindered from P→A through the valve. A pressure spring opens the oil flow against the inlet pressure as soon as the outlet pressure drops, e.g. due to consumption. As a result, hydraulic oil continues to flow until the set outlet pressure is reached again.

Important notes:
As this pressure regulator seat valve does not have a leakage oil connection, any increase in outlet pressure cannot be compensated for. Reasons for the unintentional pressure increase can be, for example: heating, external influences, the effects of foreign bodies (chips) in the valve seat, etc. Override compensation is not possible due to the seat valve design. HYDROKOMP recommends the installation of a pressure relief valve (PRV) between the pressure regulating seat valve and the consumer. The opening pressure set for the DBV must not exceed the maximum permissible operating pressure of the consumer. If possible, it should be approx. 10 % above the outlet pressure. The outlet pressure can be set using a pressure gauge, which also allows the outlet pressure to be checked visually.
