These check valves are spring-loaded check valves. They are particularly suitable for shutting off consumer lines in hydraulic cylinders without leakage oil in conjunction with directional valves with leakage oil.

These non-return valves are spring-loaded check valves. They are particularly suitable for shutting off consumer lines in hydraulic cylinders without leakage oil in conjunction with directional valves with leakage oil. The flow B→A is permanently continuous. In the opposite direction A→B, the flow is blocked, but can be opened by applying pressure via the control connection Z. The minimum pressure for this depends on the pressurization at port A.

The non-return valve with a stroke volume of 20 l/min has no pilot control. The version with a stroke volume of 50 l/min is available with or without pilot control. Check valves with pilot control are recommended for higher pressures and larger volume flows. The pilot control is achieved by opening an upstream seat valve in the main valve spool. This means that a lower control pressure is required to release the flow. Pilot control also allows clamping cylinders with unfavorable surface ratios to be used. The pressure reduction in the consumer line takes place gradually, which reduces pressure relief shocks and protects the connected hydraulic components. The flanged design of the non-return valves with/without pilot control makes it possible to use devices without pipes. Uncoupled machine parts, e.g. pallet systems, can be kept under pressure using these check valves.

Important note:

If the pressure applied to unlock the valve is too low, faults may occur in the pressure ratio. When unclamping swing clamp cylinders and pull-type cylinders, there is a risk of dangerous malfunctions. Such clamping cylinders may only be operated with pilot-operated non-return valves that are designed for a significantly lower opening pressure. A leakage oil connection is required to relieve the piston chamber. This must be protected against contamination and the ingress of liquids
