The non-return valves are used to shut off a consumer line when using hydraulic cylinders. The non-return valve with pre-relief is ideal for use with high operating pressures and consumer volumes.

These non-return valves belong to the shut-off valves according to DIN ISO 1219. The blocked flow A→B can be released with the help of a hydraulic pressure in port Z. The flow B→A is permanently continuous. The non-return valves without pre-relief have a ball as a valve element.

In the version with pre-relief, a spherically ground valve piston with integrated ball check valve is installed. Even before the valve piston opens, a throttle cross-section is released when the valve is unlocked. This dampens the opening movement of the unlocking piston. Pressure surges in the consumer volume are suppressed. The pre-relief ensures a lower opening pressure, which is particularly suitable for swing clamp cylinders.
