Info

Hydraulic models are available in both single and double-acting versions. They are used in clamping fixtures that are supplied with oil via drilled channels. To swing in the clamping lever, the linear stroke is used proportionally, which fixes the workpiece. To release, the clamping lever swivels back far enough so that the workpiece can be removed without collision. Clamping levers are not included in the scope of delivery! Standard clamping levers made of steel and in different lengths can be ordered as accessories. The cylinder can also be fitted with individual clamping levers. The clamping forces depend on the length of the clamping lever.

Installation instructions:
The rotary lever clamp is generally suitable for any installation position. However, care must be taken to ensure that the selected installation position does not result in chip nests forming in the swivel range of the clamping lever during operation.

Operating conditions:
The clamping lever is coupled to the piston rod. With single-acting cylinders, the clamping lever is opened via the spring return. With double-acting cylinders, this is done by the pressure medium. When installing the rotary lever clamping cylinder, the flange surface should be adapted to the height of the workpiece. The clamping point should be in a horizontal position. Workpiece tolerances can thus be optimally compensated for despite the short clamping stroke.

Safety:
Rotary lever clamping cylinders can generate high forces. Workpieces and fixtures must be designed for such loads. There is a risk of crushing during operation. The accident prevention regulations must be observed. The rotary lever clamping cylinder must be checked regularly for dirt and cleaned if necessary.
